Urbs is an application for personalized & high-quality city guides to improve the experience of traveling & discovering new places in the cities tied up to specific user interests.
Deliver a high-quality solution from scratch, scoping out the most value-adding functionalities for the product & provide a clear & simple content management system for the service in order to update it with relevant voice, video & text content.
The main challenge was to build a product from scratch which would actually attract the right user audience, provide value & reshape the current city-guides niche in the App Store with something of better quality.
We solved it through working on the technical specification for the product – outlining main product targets, user audience, high-level description of the main functionalities, different user entities & application flow, building low-fidelity wireframes & outlining business and safety requirements.
Upon the completion of technical specifications, we kicked off the iterative design & development process following our Standratized 5 Steps Development approach bringing the product closer to completion on a step-by-step basis.
We’ve delivered a quality iOS solution – users can perform key tasks through the application & are able to get quality voice & media guides inside the cities based on their preferences.
Future plans for the service – expanding to a number of European cities & building an Android version – fundraising goes first though. With the opening all over the world after the pandemic, the future looks promising for Urbs.
We’re using COVID-19 times to polish the product, work with the test group, gather more feedback, and publish the product once quarantine and lockdowns go done.
